PRC is a country short of energy, while many areas are endowed with rich solar resources. Therefore, as a type of clean-energy and strategic emerging industry, PV industry has grown rapidly in PRC and a relatively complete chain of PV manufacture has been established. As of June 2018, there are 13 construction subprojects of PV power station that have been approved by the GFP Project, with a total installed capacity of 177.78 MW and proposed ADB entrusted loans through financing leasing company. The 13 subprojects are expected to drive a total investment of CNY 1.802 billion and lead to a carbon dioxide emission reduction of 162,200 tons annually, which will contribute directly to the improvement of air quality.
